I wonder what the reasoning behind that ridiculous pricing is. Why not just shell out 500$ for an iPhone and use the watch feature on that with a Space Invaders background image?

It strikes me that if they made more than 8, let's say 1000 and priced them at 200 euro/dollars/pounds they'd do much better business and probably make more money.

What's in these watches that you can't mass produce them?
